There are many challenges to parenting a successful footballer.  They require a lot of support including time, money, guidance and emotional support.  While providing this they also need an environment that allows them to think and act independently, make mistakes, fail, and overcome their fears, struggles, and challenges.  While parents have the best intentions for their footballer, they can sometimes get in the way of their progress just at the time they feel thay may be helping the most.  Over my career, I have experienced helpful and harmful guidance from the adults around me.  I have seen what worked (and didn't) for me, my friends, and my teammates.  For those who are new to parenting a footballer, we can help you avoid the pitfalls that are common.  If you are struggling we can help you get on the right track and enjoy the experience of watching your child grow into a strong and confident adult.
