All people are subject to how they see the world around them.  Our view shapes whether we see events as positive or negative.  We hear coaches, teammates, and parents refer to it all of the time: "get your head in the game, you got this, push through, and just get over it" as only a few examples.  Sometimes it seems to motivate us and other times it makes us worse.  Your game is going well and then there is one mistake, then the "mood changes" and the team "falls apart."  What is going on here? How could a simple mistake or only a few words make such a difference?  It is because the mental aspect is a crucial part or the game.
